A HOOKER lured a man to a brothel to rob him – then found he headed the Met Police’s Vice Squad.
The 35-year-old woman approached Det Insp Kevin Hyland in the street at 6.30am as he removed prostitutes‘ calling cards from phone boxes.
She asked if he wanted under-age sex, and led him to a brothel in London’s West End notorious for “clipping” – where punters are robbed of all their money and credit cards.
DI Hyland said: “When we got there she asked if I was a policeman.
“I said, ‘Worse, I’m the head of Scotland Yard’s Vice Squad’. It was a big shock.”

“It was very unfortunate that of all the police officers in London, it was me.”
The woman will appear in court on prostitution charges next month.
New research by the Yard’s Vice Unit has found 400 brothels in London.
