A woman was stabbed to death by an ex-lover after telling police he was stalking her, a court heard yesterday.
Gemma Dorman, 24, was knifed repeatedly with a seven inch blade by former boyfriend Vikramgit Singh, who became “infatuated” with her.
He had bombarded her with hundreds of texts a week and had her name tattooed on his back. The frenzied attack outside a restaurant in Lavender Hill, South West London, happened in July 2008 – two months after Gemma told police she was being followed and was scared.

Singh met Gemma when she worked for an escort agency and their relationship continued after she left in 2007 until she dumped him in early 2008. She was planning a new life in Spain with her fiancé, who she was out with on the night she was killed.
