A policeman who had sex with a victim of domestic abuse after answering her 999 call for help, walked free from court yesterday.
Pc James Formby, 31, “flirted” with the 33-year-old in her home after she told of an attack by her stripper boyfriend. Southwark crown court heard she later performed a sex act on him.
Formby, of Maidstone, Kent, admitted misconduct and got a 20-week jail term suspended for two years. The judge told him: “Your duty was to treat her professionally. Instead, you both began flirting.”
