In other Katy and Russell news, while it hasn’t been confirmed, British tabloid The Mirror is reporting that the two became engaged recently in London. A source told the tabloid, “Russell knows Katy’s the one for him. He’s never been into a girl like he has with her and they’re besotted. He asked her to marry him last week and she quickly said yes.”
As for why Katy Perry hasn’t been seen wearing a ring, this tabloid has the answer for that – she didn’t like the one that Russell picked out for her. The source explained, “Russell is searching for a jewelry designer to make up a ring in time for New Year after the pair discussed what they wanted to have.”

While we’re not buying this story quite yet, it’s not inconceivable that Russell and Katy could become engaged soon as Russell recently rambled on on a British talk show about how he could see himself marrying her. Seriously, remember all those strippers he used to sleep with? Remember when she was kissing girls? We miss simpler, less cheesy times.
